Dean wouldn't call it an argument but there had been some yelling and salad related insults. Whoever had caused it (Dean), the end result would have been the same. Sam was staying at the bunker while Dean followed up on a lead a few states away. If he needed backup he'd call but Dean was hoping to avoid it. They needed time apart and working a case was the best way to do it.
He didn't have much to go on but that's how most of his cases started. People were disappearing at a rapid rate and he was going to figure out why.
Dean made it to town without issue, pulling up in his baby to the first dive bar he'd come too. It wasn't a large town and he figured this was probably the best place to start his look. Seedy places were seedy places for a reason.
He left the news paper clippings in his dash board but took a look at a few of the names before heading inside and taking a seat at the bar. He plucked a menu and grinned when he saw cheese fries. "I'll start with a beer." Cheese fries would be later but he was looking forward to it.
